Tam is an emerging Canadian artist branded under the alias 'Kinqed'. Her preferred medium is acrylic and oil painting, often utilizing surreal visuals to communicate personal and pop-cultural ideas.
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Mabel is a proud first-generation Canadian. Her background is Lao and Cantonese, channeling symbols and iconography in both her ideation and creation stages. Attending OCAD University in Downtown Toronto, she utilizes her experiences from living by herself at a young age to fuel and improve her creative work.
